Five Minute Friday {Possible} Verse Reflections

Five Minute Friday {Possible} Verse Reflections

This post is part of the Five Minute Friday blog link-up. Where I join up with a community of writers and bloggers of all ages and stages who gather around a single word prompt to freewrite, unscripted, unedited, for five minutes.

This weeks word prompt is {POSSIBLE}

Bible Verses To Reflect Upon

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:26 (NIV)

“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

Mark 9:23 (NIV)

For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.”

Mark 13:22 (NLT)

Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with him. This is all made possible because of the grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

2 Thessalonians 1:12 (NLT)

And dear friends, I leave you with a song to reflect upon

  1. What great verses, and a great song, to meditate on. 🙂 When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I find myself thinking on Matthew 19:26 Thanks for sharing these, Paula!

  2. Of this I am certain:
    God can do it all,
    lift our every burden,
    tear down every wall.
He can make the mountains dust,
    to the captives bring release,
and your footing you can trust
    when He parts the seas.
But what, then, of my cancer?
Did He not hear my plea?
And then there came His answer,
    that the ministry
for which I’m made would not endure
were I given health and cure.

  3. Paula, thank you for sharing the song – it encouraged me this morning. May we keep holding onto Him and keep believing that we will one day see Him do what only He can do!
