Share Four Somethings; April, Chapter 4
I’m meeting up over at Heather’s place to Share April 2021 Four Somethings.
Blankets and naps. Oh how I love naps. And, of course a beagle. I’m one of those people who say I’m just going to rest my eyes. I’m good for short naps, until I pull the blanket over me, then I’m out cold.
Something Read (or said)
In her book What If, Ruth Perry shares lessons learned from her life.
This is a delightful book with humor and wit. One can’t help but relate to some of Ruth’s lessons.
Ruth shares how God saw her through difficult times. She gives God credit for her book because her devotional book would not be possible without him.
Ruth begins with a Bible verse. Then she relates a life lesson from her own life. And after every devotion, she poses the question, What If?
I thoroughly enjoyed What If? I laughed, giggled, and felt breathtaking moments as she told about some of her more difficult times. I recommend What If? to anyone facing difficulties and for anyone who wants to be uplifted and encouraged. That’s what you will find here, as I did uplifting and encouraging.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Ambassadors International for an honest review. I was not required to give a positive review. The opinions stated within this review are my own.
Jesus got us accepted to write for Devotable. I inquired about it several months ago and was put on a waiting list. I was told I would be notified when a spot opened up. I had been praying about this for quite some time. My desire to share more Jesus grows as I grow. Anyhow, Devotable is in the process of moving over to Medium. They will not be using the website nor the mobile app after May. You can find Devotable over at Medium.
This is my very first publication to write and share more Jesus for. Without Him, I can’t do anything. With Him his possibilities for me abound. Thank you, Jesus, for providing me with this new opportunity to serve and glorify you, Amen.
Spring has sprung. I anticipate the approaching warm weather and planting flowers. I enjoy being porch people. and backyard get togethers. It’s strange, I know. But, for me the hotter the better. And, I prefer fans over air conditioning.
